Yesterday - Maundy Thursday - we had a very moving service at St John's - If you missed it you can watch it via this link: https://youtu.be/VncvYZAmx3I?
As Holy week continues, we have now reached Good Friday, where there is the Walk of Witness around Sidcup this morning and the Last Hour Service at St John's this afternoon at 2pm.
At All Saints today - there are family activities 10am - 11:30am followed by a reflective service with hymns at 11:30am
Tomorrow - Saturday - there will be cleaning and gardening activities at both churches. At St John's the gardening group will be meeting to tidy the churchyard at 9:30am, the Easter garden will be made and cleaning will take place during the morning. Hot cross buns, tea and coffee available.
Easter Sunday sees our services in both churches 9:45am at All Saints and 10am at St John's - likely to involve Chocolate!
After the Service at St John's we will be celebrating Canon Cathy becoming a Canon with cake and bubbles!
The Reading will be from the Prophet Isaiah Chapter 25, Verses 6-9
The Gospel will be: John 20, 1-18

Tuesday 9:30am- 11:30am - English lessons for Ukrainian speakers.
Tuesday 2.30pm - Singing for the Brain - a relaxed and informal dementia singing group
Wednesday 9am - Morning Prayer at St John's - a short contemplative service of prayers, Bible reading and reflection.
Wednesday 10-1pm - Place of Welcome at St John's - free coffee, cake, children's corner, wifi and more. St Georges Day Quiz and Bexley Age UK will be carrying out part 2 of their MOT assessment for those aged over 50.
Wednesday 8pm-9:30pm - Bell Ringing Practice
Thursday 9.30-10am - Morning Prayer at All Saints - a short contemplative service of prayers, Bible reading and reflection.
Friday 9am - Morning Prayer at St John's - a short contemplative service of prayers, Bible reading and reflection.
Friday 10.30am-12 noon term time - Busy Bees Toddler Group - everyone is welcome if accompanied by someone age 4 or younger.
